Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ridgeline walked away with it. They skirted past the Cheney Blackhawks 8-6. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Blackhawks last Friday, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.

Quincy Coder was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. Izabella Hernandez was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Ridgeline's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Cheney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-14.

Coming up, Ridgeline will face off against Southridge on Tuesday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Suns have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. Cheney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
