Baseball Game Preview: Warren Dragons vs. Fort LeBoeuf Bison

The Warren Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Fort LeBoeuf Bison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Warren fell victim to Bradford and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 8-0 to the Owls. The loss leaves the Dragons still looking for their first win of the season.

Meanwhile, Fort LeBoeuf came up short against Cathedral Prep on Monday, falling 13-1. The game marked the Bison's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fort LeBoeuf saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Matkovich, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Matkovich also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Fort LeBoeuf and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Warren, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Warren beat Fort LeBoeuf 5-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
