Softball Recap: Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Comes Up Short

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars. That's two games in a row now that the Thunder have lost by exactly ten runs.

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle will challenge Swanville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Thunder surely won't give up without a fight. As for Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, they will welcome Holdingford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Jaguars are facing the Huskers at the right time seeing as the Huskers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
