Edison hasn't had much luck against Bear Creek recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to square off against the Bruins at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Edison comes in on four and Bear Creek on 13.
On Tuesday, Edison got the win against Weston Ranch by a conclusive 17-6. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Angeleya Miranda, who went 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Natalia Gomez Cruz also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Edison always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .556 or higher in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Bear Creek beat Franklin 6-2 on Tuesday.
Amiyah Owens was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Orsi, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Bear Creek pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Edison, their record now sits at 8-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Edison has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bear Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Edison came up short against Bear Creek when the teams last played on April 3rd, falling 6-1. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
