Soccer Game Preview: Bluefield vs. Braxton County

The Bluefield Beavers will head out on the road to challenge the Braxton County Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Bluefield turned things around against Midland Trail on Thursday. They never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering Bluefield's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Braxton County got the win against Philip Barbour on Thursday by a conclusive 6-0. Fans of Braxton County have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Bluefield's victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Braxton County, their win bumped their record up to 16-0.
