There's no place like home for Staunton River, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Carly Overstreet, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Metric, who earned one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
