Volleyball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Centennial can now relate to. They came up short against the Village Christian Crusaders on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Village Christian found their leader in sophomore Walton Salazar, who had six digs and three aces. Salazar is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 18 or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Centennial moved to 14-14 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Village Christian, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Village Christian, they will be playing at home against Oxford Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
