Myers Park is 9-1 against Butler since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

On Tuesday, Myers Park got the win against West Mecklenburg by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Butler made easy work of West Charlotte on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Butler took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-7, 25-9.

Myers Park's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Butler, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Myers Park beat Butler 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
