Basketball Recap: Greer Yellow Jackets vs. Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers
After a string of three wins, Greer's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 44-32 to the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Yellow Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Fighting Tigers are ranked 45th).

Greer's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Heaven Jones-Cason, who posted five points and four steals. That's the most steals Jones-Cason has posted since back in November of 2024.
