Soccer Game Preview: Sussex Central vs. Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech

The Sussex Central Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Sussex Central challenged Surry County last Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Cougars, falling 8-1. Sussex Central were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Micha Abduvahobov, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-2 to Franklin.

This is the second loss in a row for Sussex Central and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
