Jacob Borg and Cael Johnson secure win for Wakefield

Recap: Wakefield Trojans vs. Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers
The Wakefield Trojans lost to the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers back in January of 2016, but the Wakefield Trojans didn't allow the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers the same satisfaction on Thursday. Wakefield enjoyed a cozy 59-40 win over Bancroft-Rosalie.
Leading Wakefield to victory were Jacob Borg and Cael Johnson. Borg scored ten points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Johnson scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Johnson posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Birkley, who scored four points.
Wakefield's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
Wakefield will head out on the road to take on Lyons-Decatur Northeast on Tuesday. Lyons-Decatur Northeast is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oakland-Craig at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
