Football Game Preview: Pike Central Chargers vs. Forest Park Rangers

The Pike Central Chargers will challenge the Forest Park Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pike Central comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Friday, Pike Central took a blow against North Posey, falling 49-6. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Vikings are ranked 129th).

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Forest Park and South Spencer, and South Spencer kept the tradition alive. The Rangers were dealt a 42-14 defeat at the hands of the Rebels on Friday.

Pike Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Forest Park, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Pike Central couldn't quite get it done against Forest Park in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 28-21. Can the Chargers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
