Soccer Game Preview: Huron vs. Sandusky

The Huron Tigers will square off against the Sandusky Blue Streaks at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Huron's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Huron's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Port Clinton 1-0. Huron's winning goal came courtesy of Ava Manner.

Meanwhile, Sandusky fell victim to Edison and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Chargers. Sandusky have struggled against Edison recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Huron's victory bumped their record up to 6-7-1. As for Sandusky, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Huron took their win against Sandusky in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1 score. In that contest, the Tigers amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
