Northern was led to victory by Danielle Sypolt, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Wednesday. Sypolt didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 5.1 strikeouts per game.
