Football Recap: San Tan Foothills Comes Up Short on the Road Against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy + How To Watch

San Tan Foothills had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions on Saturday, falling 53-10. While losing is never fun, the Sabercats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona football rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Lions are ranked 42nd).

A big part of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Race Pinneo and his top target Dominic Painter. Pinneo threw for 177 yards and a pair of touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing while Painter picked up 164 receiving yards and two scores. That's the most receiving touchdowns Painter has posted since back in September of 2024.

San Tan Foothills wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 40-0 loss against Dysart on the 29th. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 41-14 win against ALA - Ironwood on the 29th.
