Football Recap: Kingston Tigers vs. Beacon Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Goshen Central, Kingston was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Beacon Bulldogs by a score of 23-13. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 8-0 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
Kingston's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Purvis led the charge by rushing for six yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also throwing for 174 yards and one TD. The Tigers' leading receiver Cole Thorpe was Purvis' top target yet again, picking up 93 receiving yards and one score.
