Springdale Prep lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Virginia Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of 2's game. The Springdale Prep Lions breezed by the Virginia Academy Patriots to the tune of 74-37 on Tuesday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Springdale Prep is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which somehow still isn't as good as their 23-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.7 points. As for Virginia Academy, they dropped their record down to 12-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Springdale Prep Lions challenge the New Hope Academy National Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Virginia Academy, they and Highland will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Highland will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Virginia Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
