Soccer Recap: Southridge Comes Up Short on the Road Against Evansville Central

Southridge had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Evansville Central Bears on Monday. If Southridge were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to Evansville Central when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Anderson Elshoff and Caden Jackson scored all three of Southridge's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The win got Evansville Central back to even at 1-1.

Southridge has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Heritage Hills on the 21st. As for Evansville Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 loss against Evansville North on the 20th.
