Recap: Bay Path RVT Minutemen vs. Abby Kelley Foster Bears
The Bay Path RVT Minutemen had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past Abby Kelley Foster, posting a 50-8 victory on the road. The result was nothing new for Bay Path RVT, who have now won six games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Kaiden Brochu continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 111 yards and three touchdowns. Brochu is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last seven games he's played. Elias Vega made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Bay Path RVT's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Abby Kelley Foster, their defeat was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bay Path RVT is on the road again on Saturday and play against Blackstone-Millville at 12:00 p.m. on October 28th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Massachusetts (Blackstone-Millville is ranked 141st, while Bay Path RVT is ranked 130th). As for Abby Kelley Foster, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Paul at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Paul comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
