Softball Recap: Mulberry Panthers vs. Lakeland Dreadnaughts
Mulberry won the last time they faced Lakeland and things went their way on Thursday too. Mulberry came out on top against Lakeland by a score of 5-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.
Laura Robinson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March of 2024.
At the plate, Lorianys Castanon Cruz was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Jaylyn Oschmann also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
