Volleyball Recap: Hawkins Takes a Loss

Hawkins was the 3-0 winner over Union Grove when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions on Saturday.

Hawkins has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Union Grove, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Hawkins wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bishop Gorman on the 23rd. As for Union Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Cumberland Academy on the 23rd.
