The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Stephens of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

St. Stephens' loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for A.C. Reynolds, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.
