Timberline is a perfect 10-0 against Centennial since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Timberline will be playing at home against Centennial at 6:30 p.m. Timberline has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 14th.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last three times Timberline and Capital have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. Timberline fell 9-5 to Capital.

Aidan Messerschmitt was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Logan Thistle, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

Meanwhile, Centennial faced Rocky Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Centennial never let Rocky Mountain get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Centennial's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cannon Haws, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Timberline's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Centennial, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Timberline beat Centennial 5-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Does Timberline have another victory up their sleeve, or will Centennial turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
