Ramsey's win ends three-game losing streak at home

Recap: Ramsey Rams vs. Mulberry Grove Aces

The Ramsey Rams's eight-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They managed a 83-77 victory over Mulberry Grove. Ramsey's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Aces players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Sugg, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Icenogle, who scored 20 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.

Ramsey's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Mulberry Grove, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ramsey's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Father McGivney Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on December 19th. Mulberry Grove will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
