It was a good run, but King/Drew unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Millikan Rams. Considering the last time the Golden Eagles couldn't score was back in November, the team can't take the result too hard.

King/Drew's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Millikan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing El Segundo the next time they take the pitch. King/Drew will head out to face El Segundo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Millikan will head out to face them at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
