Volleyball Game Preview: Fort Osage Indians vs. Truman Patriots

The Fort Osage Indians will take on the Truman Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Fort Osage is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since September 24th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Platte County. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Fort Osage was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Platte County work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-13, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Truman came up short against Chrisman on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Truman was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-23.

Fort Osage's loss dropped their record down to 16-10-1. As for Truman, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.

Fort Osage took their victory against Truman in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
