Basketball Recap: Dripping Springs Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Dripping Springs was the 60-44 winner over Austin when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dripping Springs Tigers lost to the Austin Maroons at home by a 42-27 margin on Friday. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Dripping Springs' loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-11. As for Austin, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 7-18.

Dripping Springs has already played their next match (against Bowie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Austin will challenge Westlake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
