Soccer Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Antioch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 391st in Illinois, while Kenosha Bradford are ranked 47th in Wisconsin).

Antioch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Kenosha Bradford, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Antioch will face off against Richmond-Burton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kenosha Bradford, they will head out to take on Racine Case at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
