Volleyball Game Preview: Liberty Leopards vs. Champion Golden Flashes

The Liberty Leopards are taking a road trip to challenge the Champion Golden Flashes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 13 consecutive losses for Liberty and nine for Champion.

Liberty lost 3-0 to LaBrae on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Liberty saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Danelle Coleman had eight digs and three aces.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Champion and Badger, and Badger kept the tradition alive. The Golden Flashes came up short against the Braves on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-21.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Champion, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Liberty suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Champion in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Leopards avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
