Softball Recap: East Hardy Takes a Loss

East Hardy managed to slip by Hampshire the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars lost 11-2 to the Trojans on Wednesday. The match marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

East Hardy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Hampshire, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, East Hardy will square off against Petersburg at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Cougars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hampshire, they will face off against Keyser at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans are facing the Golden Tornado at the right time seeing as the Golden Tornado are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
