Baseball Game Preview: Leto Falcons vs. Alonso Ravens

Leto is 1-8 against Alonso since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Leto Falcons duke it out with Alonso Ravens at 7:00 p.m. Leto will be strutting in after a victory while Alonso will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, Leto earned a 5-2 win over Robinson.

Meanwhile, Alonso fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Sickles on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Gryphons by a score of 8-7. While the Ravens didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Gryphons 5-0 in the first period.

Jordan Campos was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ihonathan Perez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Campos wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Alonso kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Alonso's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Leto, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Leto couldn't quite get it done against Alonso in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 7-2. Can Leto avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
