Basketball Recap: Eagle River Takes a Loss

Eagle River was the 78-35 winner over Kenai Central when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagle River Wolves fell 55-47 to the Kenai Central Kardinals on Thursday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eagle River's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Kenai Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

Eagle River won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Cook Inlet Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kenai Central, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Soldotna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
