Savannah had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Benton Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Thursday.

Among those leading the charge was Keely Grissom, who had 12 digs and one assist. Those 12 digs gave her a new career-high.

Savannah's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Benton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1.

Savannah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Kearney on the 27th. As for Benton, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Warrensburg on the 30th.
