Soccer Recap: Payette Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Payette was not quite Emmett's equal in the second half on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Emmett this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in August.

Payette's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Emmett, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Payette will challenge rival Homedale at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Emmett is set to face off against their familiar foe Fruitland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
