Basketball Recap: Becker Comes Up Short

After flying high against Big Lake last Tuesday, Becker came back down to earth. The Becker Bulldogs fell 67-60 to the Monticello Magic on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Magic are ranked 11th).

Becker's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Monticello, the win keeps them at an undefeated 27-0.

Becker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Monticello has already played their next contest (against Zimmerman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
