Football Game Preview: Kingston Redskins vs. Bethel Wildcats

The Kingston Redskins will head out to face off against the Bethel Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Kingston sitting on three straight victories and Bethel on five.

Kingston's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Okmulgee to the tune of 59-0. Given the Redskins' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 237th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Bethel sidestepped Hugo for a 28-26 win. The 28-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

A big part of Bethel's victory came down to the chemistry between Maddox Davis and his top target Gavin Lynch. Davis threw for 233 yards and four TDs while Lynch picked up 119 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Lynch was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 50 yards.
