Walnut Hills came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Centerville, but Trey Winters wouldn't allow it. The Elks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles on Monday thanks in part to Winters, who had seven digs and three aces. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times he's played.

Centerville was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-20.

The victory made it two in a row for Centerville and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for Walnut Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Centerville has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against La Salle on the 21st. As for Walnut Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Loveland on the 21st.
