Soccer Recap: Richland Northeast Falls to Lancaster in First Game of Season

Richland Northeast kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Lancaster Bruins, falling 5-0. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bruins apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Lancaster moved to 1-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Richland Northeast will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Dreher at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Dreher their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Lancaster, they will venture away from home to square off against A.C. Flora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. A.C. Flora will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Lancaster surely won't give up without a fight.
