Volleyball Recap: Shoals Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Shoals waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Mitchell Bluejackets as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-12.

Loren Bauer paced Shoals' offense, picking up nine kills. Bauer got some help from Rylee Bauer and her 24 assists. Brazelea Lents controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Shoals' win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Mitchell, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Coming up, Shoals will be playing at home against West Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mitchell, they will be taking part in a tournament against Northeast Dubois on Saturday.
