Miller City waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Columbus Grove Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

The final score came out to 25-17, 27-25, 17-25, 25-18.

Quincy Moenter paced Miller City's offense, picking up 15 kills. Moenter got some help from Payton Michel and her 20 assists. Michel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Miller City's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Columbus Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Miller City will square off against Wayne Trace at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Columbus Grove, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Crestview on the 11th.
