Volleyball Recap: Heartland Christian Comes Up Short

Heartland Christian entered their game against Memorial on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lions fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 3-2. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Red Devils when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Heartland Christian took Memorial into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 19-25, 20-25, 25-14, 15-8.

Heartland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Memorial, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Heartland Christian will head out to challenge Toronto at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Memorial, they will welcome Badger at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
