Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley Christian). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Wellsville Tigers 73-35. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 20 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Valley Christian and bumps their season record up to 3-2. As for Wellsville, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Valley Christian Eagles face off against the United Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wellsville will take on Leetonia in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
