Baseball Recap: Bremen Beats North Judson-San Pierre for Their Fourth Straight Win

Bremen extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 16-9 in the process. They put the hurt on the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays with a sharp 15-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won ten matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Zack Buszkiewicz and Preston Williams did most of the damage at the plate: Buszkiewicz went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Williams went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Another player making a difference was Jace Pippenger, who earned two RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Bremen always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive games.

As for North Judson-San Pierre, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-13.

On North Judson-San Pierre's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Ginder, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
