Volleyball Recap: Mescalero Apache Comes Up Short

Mescalero Apache was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Alamo Navajo Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Friday.

Mescalero Apache's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Alamo Navajo, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mescalero Apache will challenge Capitan at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Alamo Navajo, they will be taking part in a tournament against Newcomb at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
