Baseball Game Preview: Fleming Island Golden Eagles vs. Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs

The Fleming Island Golden Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fleming Island is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Fleming Island fell victim to Keystone Heights and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Indians.

Meanwhile, Flagler Palm Coast didn't have quite enough to beat Columbia on Friday and fell 3-1.

Flagler Palm Coast saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reginald Bass, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Flagler Palm Coast has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Fleming Island, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

Fleming Island came out on top in a nail-biter against Flagler Palm Coast when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
