Basketball Recap: Catasauqua's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Catasauqua can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They strolled past the Palmerton Blue Bombers with points to spare, taking the game 58-43. The Rough Riders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Bombers, too.

Catasauqua's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Palmerton, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Catasauqua will be home for the holidays to greet Notre Dame-Green Pond at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Notre Dame-Green Pond will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Catasauqua surely won't give up without a fight. Palmerton and Saucon Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
