Recap: Wellsville-Middletown Tigers vs. Van-Far Indians
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clopton, the Wellsville-Middletown Tigers were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Van-Far by a score of 40-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wellsville-Middletown also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Van-Far lost, one person who can't be blamed is Mckenna Engh-hoffman. Despite the final result, she scored six points.
The win got Wellsville-Middletown back to even at 9-9. As for Van-Far, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wellsville-Middletown will take on Bowling Green at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Van-Far, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against South Shelby at 6:00 p.m. Van-Far is coming into the match with six straight losses at home, meaning South Shelby will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
