Pomperaug waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Bunnell Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pomperaug took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-11, 25-9.

Ty Rogerson paced Pomperaug's offense, picking up nine kills. Rogerson got some help from Tripp Latta and his 19 assists. Latta was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Pomperaug's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Bunnell, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Pomperaug has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Shelton on the 23rd. As for Bunnell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Harding on the 22nd.
