Volleyball Game Preview: St. Louis University Junior Bills vs. Vianney Golden Griffins

The St. Louis University Junior Bills will head out to face off against the Vianney Golden Griffins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Louis University will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

St. Louis University is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Belleville East, who was ranked second in their home state at the time (St. Louis University was ranked first). The Junior Bills skirted past the Lancers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Junior Bills have posted since May 2, 2024.

St. Louis University got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 31-29.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Vianney, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Christian Brothers on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Vianney never let Christian Brothers on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 27-25, 25-19.

St. Louis University's record now sits at 9-0. As for Vianney, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
