Baseball Recap: Early Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Early was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 7-1 to the Galena Bears. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Early saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Coltin Jett, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Early's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Galena, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Coming up, Early will host Crane at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Galena, they are taking a road trip to face off against Fordland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
